Camping Goods Magnesium Rod Firesteel Combo Fire Starter
Our entire line of fire starters have large hardwood handles, 96% pure ferrocerium rods and 95% pure magnesium rods. In winter, when lighting a fire is difficult, a firm grip and hot sparks can make the difference between failure and success. Our fire starters produce a heavy shower of sparks and high heat. Most dry tinder (dry grass, leaves, etc) can be ignited by striking the flint alone (cotton balls, dryer lint etc. are not needed). For additional fire starting power, shave some magnesium into a pile and use sparks from the flint to ignite the magnesium. The magnesium burns at 4500 degrees, this will help ignite stubborn tinder.
Efficient and durable enough to accompany you on every adventure.
